Meet The Tinies

Tiny Tide is an indie pop band started by Mark Zonda on 2007. Whatever “indie” is supposed to mean these days. It was not the first attempt to make music by Mark. He already had an album on 1999 called “Feel the Blank”, an EP called “Heaven”, a drone-noise soundtrack called “De-constructure 306″ and some other songs recorded on a one track recorder back from 1993.

Band was finally started by Mark and Porlock one day after they saw a not very brilliant performance at Lego Club by an idie pop duo coming from UK, suddently deciding that everything would have been better of that parody of a band on the stage.

Mark was coming back to writing after giving up to write songs in Italian, and the first demos of “February” and “Needful Things” cought the attention of Manuel Magnani, already playing violin in a band called “Magic Mushrooms” and Giovanni Pistocchi, drummer from Fitness Pump.

In just 3 weeks the band was ready to indie-rock!

Years has passed, and after some changes in the line up and “The Dendrix Era”, Tiny Tide now const of:

  • Mark Zonda: Voice, Guitars, Keyboards and sometimes Trumpet, Armonica, Glockenspiel, Flute and Ukulele
  • Manuel Magnani: Bass, Violin
  • Mike Leffe: Drums
